Fundraising/Sponsorship

Team Illinois relies on the generosity of donors to help fund the team’s lodging and meals at the Games, registration fees, travel and uniform costs.  We fundraise by reaching out to our networks asking for support and by hosting fundraising events throughout the state.  We also ask corporations to sponsor us at the following levels:

Bronze: $2,000

• Recognition on the Team Illinois and National Kidney Foundation of Illinois websites
• Named recognition in the U.S. Transplant Games Keepsake Book – 10,000 participants receive this at event registration

Silver: $3,500

• Logo and link on the Team Illinois and National Kidney Foundation of Illinois websites and social media sites
• Named recognition in the U.S. Transplant Games Keepsake Book – 10,000 participants receive this at event registration
• Prominent display of logo on the team t-shirt, seen by more than 10,000 people

Gold: $5,000

• Logo and link on the Team Illinois and National Kidney Foundation of Illinois websites and social media sites
• Named recognition in the U.S. Transplant Games Keepsake Book – 10,000 participants receive this at event registration
• Prominent display of logo on all hats, shirts and uniform items, seen by more than 10,000 people

Platinum: $10,000

• Logo and link on the Team Illinois and National Kidney Foundation of Illinois websites and social media sites
• Named recognition in the Keepsake Book – 10,000 participants receive this at event registration
• Prominent display of logo on all hats, shirts and uniform items, seen by more than 10,000 people
• Company logo on Team Illinois opening ceremony signage (ceremony attended by all competitors and heavily photographed/televised by press)
• Recognition plaque

For Team Members 

NEW FOR 2012: For the 2012 U.S. Transplant Games every primary team member (recipients, living donors and donor family members) is required to raise a minimum of $250 to contribute to team expenses like uniform items. All team members should brainstorm of ways to raise their $250 in their own communities.
