| Scott Frank, 11 year heart recipient, was truly the “heart and soul” of Spare Parts, Team Illinois’ Basketball Team. He was an outspoken ambassador for organ and tissue donation and his life’s passion was to increase awareness for both heart disease and organ donation. Scott lived life to its fullest, celebrating his newfound energy and sharing his story with both children and adults at every opportunity, even capturing his thoughts into a children’s book about heart disease and transplantation. Those that knew him will truly miss this unique individual. |
